You still remember the weight of it, the way the plastic warmed in your palm. Now you’re just this. A yellow shell under a lens. Someone will look at you, see the flaking paint, and think about obsolescence. They will miss the fine motor control, the way a single finger could adjust the treble. You were designed for that. Not for this.
