About the work
verdant earth, freshly rinsed The water came and went so quickly it only half-believed in itself. But it did come. And now there's this, this small, bright, wholly unearned thing, sitting exactly where it sat before, only different now because everything around it is different. You feel the same way. The rain passes, and you are still in your place, still just you, only everything is newly rinsed and impossible to ignore.
