About the work

You decided this was the only way to meet yourself. Not by trying to remember, or by looking for traces of what you’d been. The agreement was to make something else, to create a new form of memory. And this is how it started, with a precise object, or its refusal. You know you’ll never finish, but that was never the point anyway. You only have to keep the gesture going, as long as it takes.
