About the work

The bottles are the oddest thing. Children arrive and leave with them, they leave them behind as they hurry to a new thing. But these bottles have been here long enough for the seasons to turn, the caps lost, the water evaporating or gone stale. Nobody arrived for them. Nobody waited patiently. Perhaps a child, late for the bus, just tossed it in a hurry. But then why so many, and why are they still there, beside a bus that isn't moving?
