The sudden burst of red seems almost a mistake, a stray brushstroke on a canvas of fading light and industrial grey. It’s the kind of colour that vibrates, not just from the light it catches, but from its own assertive presence against a landscape designed for utility. One wonders if that saturation, that absolute redness, is something inherent to the fabric or a trick of the hour, a final gasp of light amplifying a hue to near-impossible intensity. This might be how we experience things at the edges of our perception: a detail becomes momentarily overwhelming, demanding attention before the whole scene dissolves into the mundane again. We are often looking for these singular points of focus, these accidental monuments in the everyday.
