The drop of water clings, heavy, to the fresh, wet plaster. It is a moment of impossible balance, a perfect sphere of gravity and surface tension, just before it must fall or be absorbed. This perfect form on the imperfect wall suggests a kind of vulnerability not only in the structure but in the very idea of repair. How often do our attempts to patch over a flaw only highlight its surrounding imperfections? The faded mint green, once a deliberate choice, now feels like an accidental backdrop to this new, stark white. Perhaps there is a certain grace in this accidental revealing, in the way the world finds its own path through our careful intentions. The drop itself, a fleeting, transient thing, becomes the most permanent mark in this temporary state.
